Disconnect the water hose and avoid a homeowners insurance claim! Cold weather is here and colder weather is coming. The simple process of disconnecting a water hose from your outside water faucet will make it very unlikely to freeze and break. Leaving the water hose connected means the specially designed outside faucet can't work properly and it is very likely to freeze and break....
